Nzobonankira Euloge, Expert in Women’s Cancer Early Detection/ Breast and Cervical cancer screening at Rwanda Biomedical Centre, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Investing in healthcare workers’ knowledge and skills remains one of the most effective strategies for expanding access to cervical cancer prevention services and accelerating progress toward cervical cancer elimination in Rwanda.
It is always a privilege to support the training and mentorship of healthcare professionals in cervical cancer screening and treatment, helping strengthen the capacity of providers to deliver quality services closer to the communities they serve.
At the same time, the learning journey continues. Through Rwanda’s task-shifting approach, I have had the opportunity to further develop my skills in colposcopy under the guidance of experienced senior specialists with Dr. Sabrina Bedell and team from Huntsman Cancer Institute and University of Utah Health.
Continuous learning, mentorship, and collaboration are essential to ensuring high-quality care for women and to building a stronger health system.
Together, we can continue advancing access to life-saving cervical cancer prevention services for all women.”
