“In case you missed it… the My Child Matters 2026–2029 Nurse Projects Awards are now open!
Organized by Foundation S and International Society of Paediatric Oncology – SIOP, this international program celebrates the vital role of paediatric oncology nurses in improving childhood cancer care in resource-constrained settings.
Ten awardees will receive up to €15,000 over three years to launch impactful projects, which may focus on:
Education & Training – building skills and knowledge for better care
Improving Professional Practice – enhancing standards and patient support
Nursing Science Fellowship – research and analysis to advance nursing innovation (English only; criteria differ slightly)
Applications are accepted in English, French, and Spanish. To be eligible, projects must be nurse-led, based in low- or middle-income countries, and designed to improve care for children and families.
