Norman Ng, Director of Patient Advocacy and Public Affairs at Healthcare Thinkers, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Walk Through the Valley Together, Hold Hope for Each Other
Today we farewell our sister Mandy. When we first met, she openly shared her cancer journey. Later she accepted Christ, and despite her illness, her faith never wavered.
My wife and I were blessed to walk with her through her final days, supported by church family, prayer and God’s peace.
I was once asked: Did I know I would face life and death when starting the Lung Cancer Patients Concern Group?
I answered: Yes, and that is exactly why I choose to walk with them, step by step.
Cancer survivorship is not about courage alone. It is about community: a prayer, a hand to hold, love that carries each other through. This is the true meaning: Not one person’s bravery, but a community’s strength.
May God’s love keep us holding hope and walking together.”
