Norbert Kraut, Senior Executive Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim, shared on LinkedIn:
“In less than a week, I will help to kick off the inaugural AACR Drug Discovery and Development (AACR D3) Meeting in Boston. I am excited to chair the opening session on ‘Case studies in Drug Discovery and Development‘, highlighting the journey of three newly approved cancer drugs from initial discovery to candidate selection and clinical approval.
Please mark your calendar. This is your opportunity to learn more about the journey of our HER2 inhibitor in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and of other new agents. Ralph Neumuller, John Heymach and other colleagues from academia, biotech and industry will highlight key challenges, learnings and what’s next with these development programs.
What makes it very exciting, the AACR D3 meeting was developed to bring together a diverse and influential cancer community – including leaders from biotech, pharma, academia, regulatory agencies, technology, venture capital and patient advocacy – to spark bold ideas and to foster transformative collaborations.
Interest is high and I am looking forward to meeting many outstanding innovators in Cancer Drug Discovery and Development next week in Boston!
Big thanks to the program chairs Keith Flaherty, Pat LoRusso, Lillian Siu and Tim Yap to drive this unique meeting program.
Link to opening sessions on July 21.”
