Noha Rashad: ESMO Milestone Strengthens Focus on GI Oncology

Noha Rashad, Lecturer of Medical Oncology at Suez university and CAIRO Journal club board member and co-founder, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“A new milestone in my carrer, pursueing my interest in gastrointestinal malignancies.

I recently completed the ESMO Professional Development Certificate (CPD) in Lower Gastrointestinal Cancer – following last year’s certificate in Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer.

Together, these two programs have given me a much fuller picture of GI oncology, from esophageal and gastric cancers to colorectal and anal disease.

What keeps drawing me to this field is how fast it’s evolving: new insights into molecular subtypes, immunotherapy, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches are changing outcomes for patients in real time.

Completing both certificates has only sharpened my interest in gastrointestinal oncology, and I’m looking forward to continuing to build my knowledge in this area – through further learning, clinical practice, and hopefully contributing to research along the way.

Grateful to ESMO for these resources, and looking forward to what’s next.”
