National Institutes of Health (NIH) shared a post on X:
“An NIH-funded study found that a single dose of the HPV vaccine protects against HPV infection and subsequent cervical cancer as well as the standard two-dose regimen.
This simpler method could help expand access to this preventive health care and reduce HPV-related cancers in women worldwide.”
