The first case report of Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIAALCL) has been reported in a patient who has only received ‘smooth’ implants. As I have said since the disease was first recognised, it was just a matter of time because ‘smooth’ implants are not smooth at the cellular level.
Now it’s happened.”
