I’m thrilled to invite you to join us at the Vital Voices Global Partnership Headquarters in Washington DC, for the screening of Film Nine of the Beyond The Scar Anthology.
The Weight of Care is a short film that explores the intersection of recovery, dignity and care through the lenses of my lifelong work and mission in body intelligence and body agency as a Mastectomy Care Practitioner in the Caribbean.
This screening is an opportunity to delve into the lived realities of recovery beyond treatment and to engage in a meaningful dialogue about how we centre the person within the process of care.
