“UICC’s new ten year strategy for 2026-2036 has been published.
In this blog, Ulrika Årehed Kågström, UICC President and Secretary-General of the Swedish Cancer Society Cancerfonden, shares some of the thinking behind the strategy.
With 34 million new cancer cases projected by 2050 and major inequities in cancer care, she underscores the importance of strong partnerships and collaboration to ensure that more people have access to prevention, early detection, treatment and care, regardless of where they live.
