Neil Iyengar, Co-Director of Breast Oncology and Director of Cancer Survivorship at Emory University, shared on LinkedIn:
“I’m excited to announce the launch of our inaugural national conference, Cure to Cancer Survivorship: A New Era of Biomarkers, Interventions, and Care Models, taking place February 6, 2027, in Atlanta!
As advances in treatments of all types of cancer continue to improve outcomes, we have an opportunity to rethink how we approach cancer survivorship.
We’re launching this conference to bring together leaders in oncology, survivorship, and supportive care to explore the next generation of survivorship science and clinical practice.
We’ll discuss emerging biomarkers, precision interventions, lifestyle and metabolic health, management of long-term treatment effects, patient-reported outcomes, and innovative care delivery models – including how technology can help us deliver more accessible and individualized care.
Our goal is to help move survivorship from a largely reactive model to one that anticipates risk, prevents complications, and optimizes health and quality of life from diagnosis onward.
I’m honored to serve as Program Chair and look forward to bringing together colleagues who share this vision for the future of cancer care.
Date: February 6, 2027
Place: Loews Atlanta Hotel | Atlanta, GA
Registration is FREE for healthcare professionals using code IYENGAR.
I hope you’ll join us as we work to define the next era of cancer survivorship!”
