Neelima Denduluri, Professor and Vice Chair of Academic Affairs at City of Hope, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was a truly privilege to sit down with a National Cancer Institute (NCI) mentor and friend, Jame Abraham, and reflect on my career journey in healthcare. I’m grateful for the opportunity to discuss how our field is evolving, and what it takes to deliver better outcomes for people living with cancer.
We covered the value of clinical trials, the need to remove barriers to care, and the importance of working across disciplines and sectors to move evidence into practice.
What comes through for me, time and again, is that real progress happens when patients, clinicians, researchers, advocates, and industry work together with shared purpose. The interview touches on lessons learned from childhood to the clinic to Medical Affairs at AstraZeneca, and on how we can align innovation with what matters most to patients: timely access, quality of life, and meaningful survival.”
