NIH is seeking multidisciplinary teams to apply innovative bioengineering approaches to address important biomedical challenges. This funding opportunity supports projects that integrate, optimize, validate, translate, or accelerate the adoption of promising tools, methods, and technologies in basic, translational, or clinical research.
Projects may be design-directed, developmental, discovery-driven, or hypothesis-driven, and clinical trials are allowed when focused on testing functionality or validating performance of the bioengineering approaches in real-world settings.
