Naveen Pemmaraju, Director of Leukemia-Cancer Network, Executive Director of Cancer Medicine, Director of BPDCN at the Department of Leukemia, and Professor at the Department of Leukemia at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“An historic gathering. A monumental achievement bringing all of us together recently, as we gathered in Chicago this week for the first ever CAM – Classification Advancement Meeting – pathologists and clinicians from all over the world, experts in our own individual fields.

We came together to debate, discuss, and improve the diagnostic criteria for the most complex, rare, and the most difficult-to-diagnose Hematologic malignancies, which will ultimately be for the betterment of patient care and improve research worldwide in Rare Blood Cancers Rare Disease.

I was honored to be invited to serve as clinical chair for one of the sessions – the BPDCN session and thoroughly enjoyed & appreciated learning and contributing in several others.”
