Prevention is Key: Managing Nausea and Vomiting in ADC Therapy – MASCC

The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“We’re pleased to share this new short video: ‘Prevention is Key: Managing Nausea and Vomiting in ADC Therapy.’

Antibody-drug conjugates or ADCs have transformed cancer care. But with these advances come different challenges in symptom management and supportive care. One of the most common symptoms is nausea and vomiting – without preventative strategies, nausea and vomiting may be experienced by many patients receiving ADCs.

This short video reviews ADC-related nausea characteristics, guidelines & treatment strategies, complementary approaches, and patient education.

We would like to thank Prof. Hope Rugo for her invaluable work on this project, as well as Prof. Maryam Lustberg and Prof. Florian Scotté, whose support made this video possible.

This short video was made possible by a contribution from Helsinn Healthcare SA. Helsinn had no influence on the content of this material.

The voice-over is provided by Prof. Hope Rugo, who previously received funding and travel support from Helsinn for work unrelated to this project.”
