New Hope for EGFR Exon 20+ NSCLC with Zipalertinib – National Cancer Centre Singapore

“Major moment for NCCS lung cancer research!

Prof Daniel SW Tan presented at the Presidential Symposium of the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul, South Korea today, sharing positive phase 3 results for zipalertinib (a novel EGFR inhibitor) in the treatment of EGFR exon 20 insertion non-small cell lung cancer, a subtype with historically limited treatment options.

The trial showed that patients lived significantly longer without disease progression when zipalertinib was added to chemotherapy (14.5 vs 8.5 months).

Proud of this milestone and excited for what it means for patients facing this challenging diagnosis.

More on the Symposium.”
