Nathalie Fryd, PhD student at Aarhus University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Excited and proud to share that our paper, “The Green Bladder Study: Early Detection of Bladder Cancer in Greenland Using a Urinary Biomarker” has now been published in Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) MDPI .
This publication is the result of more than three years of work carried out in collaboration with the department of Surgery at Queen Ingrid’s Hospital in Greenland.
The Greenlandic setting presents a distinct clinical context for healthcare delivery shaped by geography, distance, and infrastructure. This means that diagnostic approaches must be adapted to local conditions.
In the Green Bladder Study, we have explored whether a decentralized urinary biomarker test could provide a more accessible diagnostic approach to support clinical decision-making and strengthen patient pathways for early detection of bladder cancer in an Arctic healthcare context.”
