“Thank you Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) for shining a light on the life altering and often not acknowledged effects of gynaecological cancers and their treatments.
GyN Care is a national online and freely available guidance resource which will be launched later this year to support nurses to better address these needs, reduce variation in care and aims to improve supportive cancer care for women and people affected by these cancers.
All people working in the space need to do better, listen to people with lived experience and design better innovative solutions to improve outcomes. It is not an impossible task but it does require effort and investment.”
