Natalie Williams: Presenting the Teal Support Telehealth Program at MASCC 2026

Natalie Williams,  Research and Support Evaluation Lead at Ovarian Cancer Australia, Ovarian Cancer Australia at King Edward Memorial Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

This week I was privileged to present findings from the evaluation of the Ovarian Cancer Australia Pilot Teal Support Telehealth program at the international conference for The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC). I presented on behalf of an incredible project team comprising past and current OCA staff and a team from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) led by Patsy Yates.

This work is currently under review for publication with Supportive Care in Cancer journal and is summarised by one of the participants who described the specialist nurses as ‘worth their weight in gold’.

Congratulations to the entire team on this key piece of evidence to underpin the supportive care services provided by OCA for Australians affected by ovarian cancer and we look forward to refining and developing our model over the coming year to enhance care delivery.”
