Paolo A. Ascierto: Celebrating Naples’ Commitment to Science and Innovation at Melanoma Bridge 2025

Paolo A. Ascierto, Full Professor of Oncology at the University of Naples Federico II, Director of the Department of Melanoma, Cancer Immunotherapy and Development Therapeutics at the National Cancer Institute IRCCS Pascale Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“A heartfelt thank you to the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, for his inspiring remarks at Bridge 2025.

He reminded us what an honor it is for the city to host events like this: Naples is not only beauty, food, and sea; it is also research, innovation, and science.

As Mayor, and previously as Rector of Federico II University, he emphasized his support for research and technology, recognizing the value of international conferences that advance health, care, and innovation.

In his words, he perfectly captured the spirit of the event: “I strongly believe that the union of beauty and innovation can be an incredible tool to improve people’s quality of life.”

We are proud to be here in Naples, a city that looks to the future and continues to promote science, innovation, and progress.”
