“Our latest publication demonstrates the neuroprotective ability of oral CBD administration in alleviating chemobrain.
Using a clinically relevant adjuvant chemotherapy mouse model, we found that oral treatment with a CBD formulation closely resembling FDA-approved Epidiolex reversed chemotherapy-induced deficits in spatial recognition memory, executive function, and memory consolidation processes. CBD also restored neuronal plasticity-related IEG (cFos), neurogenesis, synaptic density, and reduced neuroinflammation, supporting its translational potential and emphasizing its relevance for advancing neuroprotection in cancer treatment!
