“From being part of the first batch of oncologists trained in Addis Ababa University, Tikuranbessa Hospital, Ethiopia to now serving as its Head of the Department, this journey has been deeply meaningful.
Since 2017, Ethiopia has graduated 67 oncologists – a remarkable achievement in building our cancer care workforce.
Many continue to serve in Ethiopia, while others are contributing to cancer care across the region and beyond.
Our oncologists are growing, our capacity is expanding, and most importantly, we are serving our country and making an impact beyond our borders.
Proud to be part of this journey and excited for what lies ahead.”
