“Yesterday marked our third and final meeting of the Cancer Surviorship Quality Standards Committee. I am honored to serve as Co-Chair a longside Dr. Anand Govindarajan on this important initiative.
Over the past year, our dedicated and passionate committee has been working to develop first-ever Quality Standard for Cancer Survivorship — a much-needed and very timely initiative. It’s time to shine a stronger light on survivorship and ensure that people living with, through, and beyond cancer receive comprehensive, high-quality, and consistent care across the province.
We received thoughtful public feedback, which has helped us refine the document even further. We are now moving toward dissemination by March 2026, bringing this work to clinicians, health-system leaders, community partners, and—most importantly—patients and families.”
