Mount Sinai Medical Center shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Recently, Mount Sinai Medical Center proudly celebrated National Cancer Survivorship Month at the Braman Comprehensive Cancer Center. The special gathering welcomed cancer survivors, their families, caregivers, staff, and members of the community for a day dedicated to honoring resilience, celebrating survivorship, and empowering life after cancer.
The program featured presentations from our healthcare teams, who shared valuable insights on life after cancer, survivorship resources, and the importance of ongoing support. Guests also enjoyed live music, light refreshments and snacks, pet therapy, and interactive art activities.
Throughout the event, attendees explored a variety of educational and wellness booths covering topics such as nutrition, cancer survivorship, long-term side effect management, physical therapy, yoga, lymphedema care, and volunteering opportunities. These interactive experiences provided survivors and their loved ones with practical resources to support their continued health and well-being.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this inspiring celebration a success. Together, we continue to celebrate survivorship and support our community.”
