“Last week was bittersweet as I resigned from my position at Myriad Genetics after 11 years to embark on an exciting new role in breast cancer.
Over the years I’ve worked with some amazing people and developed some long lasting friendships. I’m so grateful for that moment while working as a breast cancer navigator that Myriad took a chance on me.
At times I was the only nurse professional on our team of genetic counselors. I learned a lot from my colleagues and I hope they learned a bit from me too. I look forward to my new career but will always look back on the past decade with fondness.”
