Monica Pierro, Geriatric oncologist at Institut Curie, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Reflecting on an inspiring experience.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who participated in and contributed to the SIOG – International Society of Geriatric Oncology Research Masterclass in Geriatric Oncology in Tampa, Florida.

The discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative spirit throughout the event were truly inspiring. I had the opportunity to connect with passionate and dedicated professionals, which made this experience even more valuable.

A special thank you to the organizers for delivering such a high-quality program and for their commitment to making this event a great success William Dale, Melissa Kah Poh Loh,  Supriya Mohile, Heidi Klepin, Capucine Baldini, Martine Extermann

And a special thanks to prof Etienne BRAIN and Institut Curie who ecouraged me to participate to this experience.

I’m leaving with fresh perspectives, new ideas, and renewed motivation for what’s ahead.
Thanks to all the inspiring people from all over the World.

This experience reinforced the importance of spreading the culture of oncogeriatrics, both in research and in clinical practice, to ensure more personalized and equitable care for older adults with cancer.

Looking forward to continuing these conversations and reconnecting with many of you in the future!”
