Mohit Manrao, SVP, Head of US Oncology at AstraZeneca, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What will it take to break down silos and deliver the equity, technology, and policy alignment needed at the state level to address growing lung health challenges?
This is the question I put forward at AstraZeneca’s 2025 Lung Health Roundtable, where I had the honor to moderate a powerful dialogue between leaders across science, policy, and community care.
The discussion underscored something important for me: we can’t achieve lung health equity through national conversations alone – real progress must happen at the state and community level. What resonated most was how the panel’s big picture insights matched what I see on the ground. When we break down silos, we can build trust, stay closer to the real challenges people face, and create solutions around the people impacted.
The path forward is clear: equity must be the compass, and community must be the starting point. Thank you to Laura Kate Bender, Jonathan Dayton, Flenaugh, Eric, Gilmar J. Flores, MPH, Christina Harris, MD, for the insightful conversation, and to the many partners and teams working tirelessly to make lung health a shared priority.
For the full insights, I encourage you to read the article.”
