Mohamed Abdelrazik, Oncology Franchise Manager at Pfizer, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“November is Men’s Health Month, and we at Pfizer are deeply committed to raising awareness about men’s health issues. From an oncology perspective, prostate cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers affecting men.
In line with our commitment, we recently organized a Prostate Cancer Awareness Day. The event was incredibly informative and interactive, covering a wide range of topics related to prostate cancer. We were honored to have Prof. Salem Eid prof of medical oncology, NCI as our keynote speaker. and his insights were highly valuable.
One of the key take-home messages he shared was:
- Let’s break the silence on Prostate Cancer Awareness.
- Early detection can save lives
- If you are 50 years or older, or have a family history of prostate cancer, it is crucial to talk to your doctor about screening.
We encourage everyone to have regular check-ups to ensure early detection and to support conversations that matter.
By raising awareness, we can collectively make men’s health a priority.
Together, we can make a difference.”
