“Minnesota Oncology was recently recognized as ASCO Certified. This patient-centered cancer care certification program was created by the Association for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and demonstrates that our practice has a strong and enduring commitment to measuring the quality of cancer care delivery and to meeting national standards in quality and safety. To become certified, we met rigorous, expert-backed Oncology Medical Home standards and will continue quality assessment and improvement efforts to maintain certification.
With this achievement Minnesota Oncology becomes the first and only ASCO certified practice in Minnesota, and one of only 18 practices in the United States and 22 worldwide to earn this certification. This distinction underscores our leadership in delivering safe, patient-centered, value-based cancer care and our ongoing commitment to continuous quality improvement.
