Miloš Grujić, Head of Department of the Subspecialist Cabinets at the Center for Radiation Oncology at University Clinical Center Kragujevac, Co-Chair of Career Development Working Group at European School of Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn.
“Our Clinic of Radiation Oncology University Clinical Center Kragujevac (Univerzitetski klinički centar Kragujevac) will be represented at ESTRO 2026 with 7 accepted abstracts:
- Mini-Oral
- 1 Poster Highlight
- 5 Digital Posters
I’m honestly a bit speechless.
Every year I write about step-by-step progress, about improving conditions, building teams, strengthening research culture despite limitations. This year, that step feels huge.
Two of these abstracts are the result of collaboration with colleagues from other centers, and I want to sincerely thank them for the trust, openness, and teamwork — science grows faster when we grow together.
One abstract is dedicated to RISING-RO, a project very close to my heart, focused on mapping and addressing inequalities in radiotherapy training and access across South-East Europe. Seeing this work recognized at ESTRO means a lot.
Seven accepted abstracts at ESTRO is not just a number — it’s a reflection of teamwork, persistence, long evenings, shared belief, and a clinic that refuses to stand still. I’m incredibly proud of our team and grateful to everyone who contributed to this journey.
Stockholm, here we come.”
