Milan Mishkovikj, Vice-President, Program Manager, and Volunteer at Hepar Centar Bitola, and Board Director at ELPA, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today we walk in the mountains — to honor everyone living with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) and all other liver diseases.(Liver cancer hepatitis FattyLiver, MASLD MASH RareLiverDisease Wilson Alfa1 autoimmune hepatitis, PSC…)
Walking at this height is more than a physical journey. It is a symbol of the uphill battles that patients face every day, but also of the strength, resilience, and hope that carry them forward.
Every step is a step closer to:
- Raising awareness about PBC and other rare liver diseases
- Standing together with patients, families, and caregivers.
- Breaking stigma and showing that no one walks this path alone.
- Pushing for research, early diagnosis, and better care for all.
From the mountains to every corner of the world, our message is clear: together, we can climb every challenge and create a healthier future for all liver patients.”
