“TOUR: Transforming cancer OUtcomes through Research was pleased to host a fantastic seminar on Gender Medicine in Oncology from Doro Wagner and Tet Yap at King’s College London.
A really thought-provoking discussion about why sex and gender matter across cancer research and care, from cancer biology and pharmacology to treatment response and toxicity.
Most excitingly, the conversation didn’t stop when the seminar ended. Lots of ideas emerged, and within Team TOUR we have already started thinking about new collaborations and future proposals to take some of these questions forward.
Thank you Doro and Tet for a great seminar and for sparking so many new conversations!”
