“Cancer Rehabilitation Awareness Month is here and you can make a difference
Every year, millions of individuals living with and beyond cancer face challenges that extend far beyond treatment. Restoring function, improving quality of life, and supporting long-term survivorship are essential parts of cancer care.
That is where the International Cancer Rehabilitation Foundation (ICRF) comes in.
ICRF is a global nonprofit founded by cancer rehabilitation clinicians with a bold vision: to make cancer rehabilitation accessible to all individuals worldwide, regardless of geography or resources.
Through education, collaboration, and advocacy, ICRF is working to:
- Expand access to evidence-based cancer rehabilitation services
- Equip healthcare professionals with specialized training and tools
- Build a global directory of clinicians to connect survivors with care
- Advance research and policy to integrate rehabilitation into standard oncology care
Patients gain earlier access to care and improved quality of life
Clinicians benefit from education, collaboration, and professional growth
Researchers, educators, and policymakers gain the resources needed to drive meaningful change
Together, we can ensure that survivorship includes not just living, but living well.
Join us in supporting Cancer Rehabilitation Awareness Month
Help expand access to care and education worldwide
Be part of a movement to transform cancer care
If you are interested in collaborating with or volunteering for this important work, I would love to connect and share more about how you can get involved.”
