Michael Sapienza: Partnering with xCures to Transform CRC Care

Michael Sapienza, Chief Executive Officer of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“As part of our Project Cure CRC initiative, the Colorectal Cancer Alliance is partnering with xCures Inc. to build the next phase of BlueHQ™, a personalized support portal for colorectal cancer patients and caregivers.

For too long, patients and caregivers have been forced to track down medical records across multiple providers, re-submitting the same information over and over again, and trying to make sense of it all while facing one of the hardest times of their lives.

That burden is unacceptable. A solution is needed, especially as colorectal cancer is the deadliest cancer and continues to rise at alarming rates among people under 50.

Through our partnership, xCures will support building BlueHQ with TEFCA™ Individual Access Services, helping lay the foundation for simpler, secure, patient-directed access to medical records. This work aligns with what patients have been asking for: clarity, control, and connections that provide access to improved care.

BlueHQ is being built to do exactly that: combining easier access to health information with trusted guidance, navigation, community, and personalized support. With the right infrastructure in place, patients won’t just have their data—they’ll be able to use it with clarity and confidence.
