Michael Sapienza: $2.4 Million Has Been Raised at the Annual Blue Hope Bash

Michael Sapienza, Chief Executive Officer of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“An unforgettable night at the National Blue Hope Bash.

This past weekend, the Colorectal Cancer Alliance hosted its annual Blue Hope Bash at the National Building Museum. The evening raised $2.4 million to advance prevention, patient support, and research for colorectal cancer.
We celebrated Craig Melvin and Lindsay Czarniak, who received the Blue Star Award for their unwavering commitment to our mission. Their dedication, born from personal loss and transformed into purpose, continues to inspire a national movement of awareness and action.

The night was filled with emotion, courage, and hope. It reminded us that progress against this disease depends on more than science. It requires connection, compassion, and action to address an illness that too often remains in the shadows.

I am deeply grateful to every ally, donor, and supporter who made this possible. Your belief in this mission brings us closer to a future free of colorectal cancer.
