Michael Durney, Associate Director at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute shared on Linkedin:
“Hi everyone,
Reaching out to my network before the Pan-Mass Challenge ride next weekend in support of game-changing research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Thank you everyone who has supported me so far as I cross the $10,000 threshold – every penny of which goes directly to DFCI research support.
Cancer affects every family and community but can eventually be conquered (or at least controlled) by investing in research. We owe it to previous and future generations to do as much as we can right now. For the price of a few coffees, you can join a movement to help so many people.
Patients arrive at DFCI every day with their families and friends where they receive the highest level of care possible. I feel fortunate and privileged to be able to help this amazing institution.
The ride itself is a major physical challenge (48 hours, 177 miles) so I am determined to build momentum make it as impactful and worthwhile as possible. My next target is $12,000 and with your help we can easily meet that goal by making a donation at this link:”
