“Every year, HPV causes an estimated 600,000 cases of cervical cancer worldwide. Yet cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers when screening is accessible and used.
Check out this video in Arabic from the INTERNATIONAL PAPILLOMAVIRUS SOCIETY – IPVS “Ask About HPV” campaign to know more about the role of cervical screening in detecting changes early and preventing cancer before it develops. Screening, alongside HPV vaccination, remains a cornerstone of comprehensive cervical cancer prevention.
