“Congratulations to Robert Stirling on award of Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division for significant service to respiratory oncology as a clinician and educator, and to research.
Rob founded and has continued to lead the Victorian Lung Cancer Registry, a clinical quality registry that collates data on various aspects of lung cancer clinical care and reports back to hospitals so they can improve their performance.
He was also part of the team that developed the ICHOM patient-centred outcome measures for lung cancer, member of ALTG and then Thoracic Oncology Group of Australasia, as well as various other professional societies and work efforts in lung cancer.”
