The TOGA Lung Cancer Preceptorship brought together early-career doctors from across Australia and New Zealand to critically analyse practice-changing trials in thoracic cancers — deepening their understanding of evidence and its translation into care.
Guided by senior clinician preceptors, participants engaged in vibrant discussion, challenged assumptions, and explored how research informs real-world decision-making.
We were also privileged to have consumer advocates share their lived experience — a vital perspective as we navigate treatment intensification, limited biomarkers, and the need for truly person-centred care.
Collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and consumers is at the heart of TOGA’s mission to improve outcomes for people affected by lung cancer.
