Megan-Claire J. Chase: The Power of Community and Joy for Black Women Breast Cancer Survivors

Megan-Claire J. Chase, Director of Health Impact and Strategic Partnerships at SHARE Cancer Support, shared on LinkedIn:

“The Baddies took over Decatur, GA over the weekend!

We’re Black women, breast cancer survivors, and Baddies who originally connected at BaddieCon last year, and had an absolute BLAST together again this year!

There’s something special about being in community with women who just get it. Fun, real talk, shared experiences, good food, and some much-needed belly laughs.

Because survivorship deserves joy, too.

Special shoutout to For the Breast of Us for creating Baddiecon that brought sooo many women of color with early-stage and metastatic breast cancer together and beyond!”
