Medicaid Cancer Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Hong Kong was more than a Congress for us.
It was an opportunity to bring our work, our experiences and the realities of cancer care in Nigeria into a truly global room.
Across three days at the World Cancer Congress, we shared our work, learned from others, strengthened old relationships, began new conversations and showcased what is possible when cancer control is taken beyond policy and into communities.
From prevention and screening to patient navigation, access to care, advocacy and capacity building, we carried with us the stories of the people and communities behind every programme we deliver.
We leave Hong Kong inspired, connected and even more convinced of one thing: The work must reach the people who need it most.
The Congress may be over.
The work continues.”
