“Head. Heart. Hands. Health.
This week was full of all four around here. The best kind of days… the learn by doing days. All the 5 AM baby animal feedings before school… all the learn by trying to live off the land… all the eggs now full grown purple ribbon roosters… showcased this week at county and next week at state.
The 4-H pledge is:
‘I pledge my Head to clearer thinking, my Heart to greater loyalty, my Hands to larger service, and my Health to better living for my club, my community, my country, and my world.’
Proud of the little ones who model diligent and thoughtful commitment. Makes me hopeful for their futures.”
