“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Mayang Permata as part of the distinguished faculty for the 14th Asia-Pacific Breast Cancer Summit (APBCS 2026).
Dr Permata is a Radiation Oncologist at the Department of Radiation Oncology, RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital, and a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, Jakarta. She holds a PhD from Gunma University, Japan, where her research focused on radiation-induced effects on PD-L1 expression in cancer cells under the Heavy Ion Therapy Leading Programme.
Her clinical and academic interests span breast, thoracic, and paediatric cancers, with a strong research focus on cancer immunology, cancer genomics, and health economics in radiation oncology – bringing a valuable multidisciplinary perspective to the APBCS programme.
