Mashukur Rahman: Insights From the Lung Cancer Preceptorship Program in Dhaka

Mashukur Rahman, Resident Doctor at Bangladesh Medical University, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I had the privilege of attending the Lung Cancer Preceptorship Program held on 16 June 2026 at InterContinental Dhaka.

The sessions offered insightful discussions on the evolving landscape of lung cancer management, including advances in immunotherapy, molecular diagnostics, and evidence-based treatment strategies. It was an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced faculty and gain practical perspectives that can be translated into everyday oncology practice.

One particularly valuable clinical pearl shared during the program was that the first four cycles of immunotherapy are preferably administered in the morning – a simple yet meaningful consideration that may enhance patient care in routine practice by Wasek Faisal sir.

Grateful to the organizers and distinguished faculty for this enriching educational experience, and looking forward to continuously integrating the latest evidence into clinical oncology.”
