Maryam Lustberg: Exploring Progress and Future Directions in Supportive Care with MoASCC and MASCC

Maryam Lustberg, Director Breast Center/Chief Breast Oncology at Yale University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Oncology care and supportive care go hand in hand.

I spent a wonderful few days with the Moroccan Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MoASCC) and the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) exploring progress and future opportunities in this area.

Thank you Mounir Bachouchi and Fatma Ben Abid for this opportunity.

I hope we can continue our collaborative group on evaluating:

  • Supportive gaps and tangible solutions globally
  • Address access to care issues (new targeted therapies, integrative therapies, supportive care interventions)
  • Evaluate specific needs such as oncofertility, oncomenopause, caregivers, and return to work issues.”
