“It was a great pleasure to once again attend the 18th edition of the BGICC in Cairo, Egypt, under the leadership of Professor Hisham El Ghazali.
This remarkable meeting brought together international key opinion leaders and distinguished colleagues from the region for two days of rich scientific exchange focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term survival of breast cancer patients.
I was honored to be part of a faculty that included world-renowned experts such as:
Fabrice Andre, Ahmed Magdy Rabea, Nagi El Saghir, Hesham ElGhazaly, Joseph Gligorov, Matti Aapro, Banu Arun, Pr. Adda Bounedjar, Sami Khatib, Julie Gralow, Prof. Humaid Al-Shamsi, Sana Al Sukhun, Marc Spielmann, Prof. Ola Khorshid and many other leaders shaping the future of oncology.
Beyond the scientific program, one of the most memorable moments was a private visit to the Museum of Civilizations in Cairo, a strong reminder of history, resilience, and continuity, values that strongly resonate with our ongoing mission to advance cancer care.
I look forward with great anticipation to the 19th BGICC meeting next January in Cairo.”
