“Very grateful to SNOLA Society for Neuro-Oncology Latin America and the LACOG Neuro-Oncology Group LACOG – Latin American Cooperative Oncology Group for the invitation and for the opportunity to participate in this important scientific exchange during EANO with the great and one Camilla Yamada.
This experience reinforces something that is particularly important for neuro-oncology in Latin America: we need to continue strengthening our connections, building collaborative networks, and sharing knowledge across institutions and countries.
Neuro-oncology is, by nature, a multidisciplinary field.
Providing the best possible care for our patients requires close collaboration among medical oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neurologists, neuropathologists, neuroradiologists, molecular biologists, and supportive care teams.
Latin America has an important opportunity to work more closely together, reduce gaps in access and knowledge, generate regional evidence, and strengthen multidisciplinary neuro-oncology care.
