Martin Duval, Medical Oncology Resident at GHT Sud Val d’Oise, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Such an honour to be part of the 2026 class of the prestigious MCCR Workshop, jointly organized by EORTC – European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer, ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology, and AACR.
Beyond the exceptional scientific content, what made this week truly special were the people. I met futur colleagues from across the world and especially 6 outstanding young investigators (Diana Rosero, Raffaella D., Icíar Ruiz Gutiérrez, Giorgio Patelli, Bruno M. Silva and Anthony Turpin) who, above all, are remarkable human encounters that I will carry with me far beyond this week.
A warm and heartfelt thank to our extraordinary quartet of faculty members (Ignacio Garrido-Laguna, MD, PhD, MBA, Fernanda Herrera, Susan Hilsenbeck, Jordan Berlin) whose world-class expertise never overshadowed their generosity, patience, and genuine investment in our projects. Their mentorship and inspiring words made all the difference.
I had the privilege of presenting an adaptive ICI strategy protocol for MSI/dMMR metastatic colorectal cancer, a project led by Prof. Romain Cohen, whom I sincerely thank for trusting me with this work. I truly hope it will move forward !
Also a special thank to the CNEC Cancérologie for their institutional and financial support through the dedicated grant, enabling French residents to participate in this landmark European event in clinical research education.”
