Mark Veich, Chief Organizational Advancement Officer at Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The future of cancer immunotherapy is gathering in Kona.
Today, the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy kicks off our 2026 Spring Retreat at Kona Village — bringing together some of the world’s leading cancer scientists, biotech founders, and biopharma leaders for three days of breakthrough science and bold ideas.
Over the next few days, this extraordinary group will dig into the frontiers of cancer immunity — from next-generation cell therapies and cancer vaccines to AI-driven discovery and the biology of how tumors evade the immune system.
Why does this matter? Because when the best minds in the field get in a room together — no silos, no bureaucracy — science moves faster. And faster science means more patients getting access to treatments that could change or save their lives.
We’re grateful to be convening this network at such a pivotal moment in our 10th year, with 440+ clinical trials and a robot portfolio of companies turning lab discoveries into real medicines.
Grateful for the leadership from our CEO, Karen Knudsen and our President of Research, Ira Mellman and CSO John Connolly.
More to come from Kona. Stay tuned.”
