Mark Lawler: All Island Cancer Data Forum Continues Despite Storm Chandra in Belfast

Mark Lawler, Associate Director of Postgraduate Studies, Chair in Translational Cancer Genomics, and Professor of Digital Health at Queen’s University Belfast, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“This is why I love Queen’s University Belfast and Belfast in general.

Because of the intervention of Storm Chandra, we found out last night that we couldn’t have Day 2 of our eHealth-Hub for Cancer All Island Cancer Data Forum in the original venue.

But Storm Chandra is no match for Brian Horgan and Gráinne Doherty Queen’s University Belfast and through intensive behind the scenes work with Caitriona Lavery, CIS, HMCC secured Stormont Hotel for us to continue our discussions and deliberations on cancer data on the island of Ireland.

God I love this place.”
