“This past week at the AAPM Annual Meeting in Vancouver, a group of us got together to celebrate more than 30 years of Pinnacle³, the 3D radiation treatment planning system that we originally developed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Over the years, Pinnacle has been used to plan treatments for millions of cancer patients around the world.
It was a wonderful evening reconnecting with many of the brilliant people who helped shape Pinnacle.
I put together an article with photos from the reunion, along with the story of Pinnacle’s origins and the amazing journey that followed.
